The artists joining us in Denmark

Here are the 12 artists that will join us for the workshopweek in Denmark. It is your once in a livetime chance to work with them...so do not forget to take part in the exhibition. Uploads possible until 15 September!
Italy
Elena Crisanti, a great painter and often works with young people in artistic workshops. In 2007 she painted the murales "Vento d'Estate" for the Institution of protection of the youngest in Brescia. She has already done similar artistic workshops with young people in Brasil. Italian is her native language, speaks perfectly Portugese and has a basic knowledge of French and English. She was the former assistant of Luciano Fabro, her works have been exhibited next to those of Castellani, Pizzi Cannella, Liliana Moro and Connie Dekker. She works in artistic projects with schools and in Brasil she organized some painting workshops with young people. 

France
Bertrand Farge, a comedian for television (serious “Plus belle de la vie”), radio, cinema and theatre. He worked already with students of “L’école Nationale de l’Administration (ENA) teaching how to be prepared for their oral examinations. He worked also with the French Ministery of Justice and the CNAM de Paris (Centre National des Arts et Métiers).

Germany
Anne Schönharting, a young (*1973) female photographer who is a member of the well-known Berlin-based photo agency “Ostkreuz” and is also teaching at the High School of Fine Arts Berlin-Weißensee. She has won several prices and stipends and shoots for big German magazines like “Stern”.

Belgium
JOSHUA, 2 musicians. Joshua is a band defining their own music “street pop”. The leader of the band, Greg Avau, is a young Brussels artist with many talents. In 2001 he started working with Joshua, and in 2004 the MC and hiphop singer Senso joined Joshua. In 2005 their first album “L’Homme À La Tête De Chien” was very successful. Their latest album “Music & Chocolates” is situated between electro and hiphop style.

Estonia
Marko Mäetamm, a multimedia artist, working within the mediums of video, drawing, interactive CDs, and the internet. Mäetamm began studying graphic art at the Estonian Academy of Arts in 1988 and received his M.A. from the academy in 1995. Mäetamm also studied practicing print technologies at the Swedish Royal Art High School. Marko Mäetamm has had solo and group art exhibitions throughout the world and has published two books, one under the pen name/moniker "John Smith" - a fictional conceptual persona occasionally used by Mäetamm as an alter-ego in his artistic projects often, in collaboration with fellow Estonian artist Kaido Ole. Mäetamm is currently a full time teacher in the drawing department at the Estonian Academy of Arts and currently resides in Tallinn, Estonia.

Romania
Mrs. Mbela Nzuzi is not only a refugee leader in Bucharest, but also the lead singer and dancer in an African band there. In 1997, the 26-year-old fled the turmoil in the Democratic Republic of Congo and arrived in Romania, which hosts some 2,000 refugees. Nzuzi received a certificate of appreciation from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Ruud Lubbers, for her efforts to improve the situation of refugee women in Romania. The Kinshasa-born refugee herself speaks English, French and Romanian and uses her trilingual abilities as proof to other refugee women that they too can pick up another language.

Lithuania
Redas Dirzys is a visual artist and has a teaching experience with children and similar target group as project t.g., because he is  the director of the art school too.

Sweden
Daniel Scott aka. Grinaid
is an American grafitti artist, who lives in Malmö, really great artist!

Latvia
Sabina Grigorieva was born in 1980, lives and works in Latvian Riga. At the 2001 finished Faculty of Sculpture and at the same time started to work in photograhy. Currently is she studying in Visual Communications Faculty. By now has been participating in 26 exhibitions and also has obtained number of first prizes in various Latvian and international photo contests. Her main interest is black and white photography, but also experiments with colour. She speaks fluently in Latvian, Russian, English and German.
 
Poland
Pawel Althamer is born May 12, 1967 in Warsaw; lives in Warsaw. He is a sculptor, performance artist, action artist, creator of installations and video art. invited a group of teenagers from Warsaw suburbs into Narutowicz hall and encouraged them to paint the walls. They created an optimistic graffito. Some time ago the monographic exhibition "Pawel Althamer spurs" ended. The exhibition at  Zacheta galery based on a cooperation with youth, mainly the "blokers" (youth living in Plattenbausiedlungen) from Bródno. The artist invited the young people to create with him the art at the walls of Zacheta. He handed the gallery over to them. 

Finland
Hanna Siira
, graphic designer born 1979 in Helsinki. She lives in Helsinki and works at Suomenlinna Sea Fortress situtated off coast of Helsinki. She studied at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Department of Visual Culture, Graphic design. As a freelancer she designed posters, identity, layout, book design, design for exhibits and illustration for Pro Artibus, Finlands Kommunförbund, Ehrenssvärd-seurary, Helinä Rautavaran museo, University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Hem och Skola rf etc.
